The Awareness Tour
wRAP It Up
The 18-25 age range is the most at risk group for contracting HIV, and the number of those infected within this range is on the rise. That is why the Yellowstone AIDS Project is going to put on THREE awareness concerts this year that are aimed at that age group.
Our first event will be held on Saturday, March 26th at the Fraternity of Eagles (F.O.E.) building in the heights & will feature hip-hop music with DJ Dubb and rap artists Stylz, Van-Go and Beast Krew. The event will include; "Reality Checks" which will give concert-goers important facts about HIV & HIV transmission, a sign-up for an appointment to be tested for HIV which will also enter their name in a raffle for prizzes & safer sex supplies will be available.
There will be a $5 cover charge at the door but this will also enter you in to a raffle for prizes such as a flat screen t.v! You must be 18 years of age to attend and ofcourse, 21 to drink. All proceeds from the door charge will go to prevention efforts at the Yellowstone AIDS Project, including our peer education group, S.H.O.U.T. AIDS who will be helping to host the event.
Please Contact Us if you have questions or wish to find out more or visit our SHOUT AIDS Facebook page.
