SHOUT AIDS

Students Helping Others Understand Teen and Young Adult AIDS is a teen and young adult peer education group that focuses on teaching others how to prevent the spread of HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases as well increasing HIV/AIDS awareness.

These goals are accomplished through educational presentations to at-risk groups, awareness events and testing drives.

We Promote:

  • Safe Behaviors
  • Teaching peers to protect themselves and those around them.
  • Dispelling myths surrounding HIV/AIDS

We travel to area schools, clubs, churches, and other organizations.

Why do we do this? Simply because youth under 25 have the highest rate of new HIV infections in the US! Rural youth, such as those in Montana and Wyoming, are especially vulnerable because we often do not perceive ourselves to be at risk.

Please Contact Us if you are interested or wish to find out more or visit our SHOUT AIDS Facebook page.
